Last year, Daytona 500 race moved back to a 1:00 pm start time, which should result in it ending in daylight. However, two red flags caused by track surface issues led to long delays that pushed the race into 7:34 PM Eastern Time start time, pushing the race into prime-time for the second time. Once the Daytona 500 2011 start time arrives, then fans will have all their questions answered in the next 250 laps.

WHO'S stupid logic is that? You have a guy that has won 4 so called Championships that people are sick of. You have another one who drives foreign cr@p and acts like a little girl. And you have a guy that took over one of the greatest drivers in the History of Nascar and has done nothing with the ride. WHERE does that logic fit in again?
But voices from around the sport say the product on the track is not to blame nearly as much as economic factors. Logic dictates that this weekend's three-way battle for the Sprint Cup title should be attractive to fans.
heres some tips that mite help.

NASCAR on the upswing ...at least they have a sense of humor.

1. Reduce fields to 36
2. Reduce ticket prices by at least 30 %
3. Reduce all 500 mile races by 100 miles
4 Reduce total prize $$ by 30 % with the rduced fields that will on;y be a 12-15 % cut per driver.
5. Eliminate "SUCK UP" broadcasting.
6. End season Labor Day.

Try that foir two years and then make adjustments.

First thing that I feel they need to change is the rules on changing pit crews. what a puppy, Johnsons crew got him this far and because there is no rule set in place he can completetly dump the guys that helped get him there in the first place and take Gordons crew away from him? come on .
